Nutivio is a mobile app that helps you understand packaged food. Scan a barcode to see the Nutivio Score, a clear breakdown of nutrition, ingredients, allergens and additives, what's good about the product, what to watch out for, and better-scoring alternatives.
Yes. Scanning barcodes and everything you see about a scanned product are free with an account, along with your history, favourites and better alternatives. Premium adds search by name, brand or barcode, personal food preferences with allergen alerts, and offline access to products you've already scanned.
In the UK, Premium is £1.99 a month or £14.99 a year, which works out at about £1.25 a month. Both plans include search, food preference alerts and offline mode. The annual plan comes with a 7-day free trial, one per Nutivio account. You subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, and the app always shows the price your store will charge before you confirm.
With Premium, products you've already scanned, saved or favourited are kept on your phone, encrypted, so you can view them without a connection. The offline copy holds up to 500 products for up to 30 days each and is removed when you sign out. Looking up a barcode for the first time needs an internet connection.
